    Cara was a truly beautiful puppy that we elected to sell to Alice Johnson.  She finished easily and soon went to live with Sue Evans.  She was absolutely treasured and adored by Sue and we could not have asked for a better home for her.  Cara was bred to Ch. Serenade's Storm Warning and five of her get finished to make her a Parent Club Dam of the Year.  Cara nearly died from Lepto, but survived with Sue's loving care and diligence.  Months later she succumbed to bloat and was tragically lost. 

    I had seen Cara at the San Antonio shows previously as a veteran.  She dragged herself to me after spotting me across the building.  She never forgot me!  I joked with Sue that Cara may have loved her most, but she loved me FIRST.  Picking up her wonderful award at the ESSFTA banquet was so bittersweet.  Such a loss.
