In the show ring, Madison was Winner's Dog at the 1991 National from the Bred by class with me, his novice breeder-handler. This win was even more thrilling because BOTH his parents were National point winners. He finished with three five-point specialty majors including the National and American Spaniel Club. In 1997, he earned an Award of Merit from the Veteran dog class and won the Stud dog class accompanied by his daughter (Ch. Tiffany's Image is Everything) who won BOS from the bred-by class over dozens of specials.

When bred to Ch. Tiffany's Elegant Image, something magically clicked. The get were an incredible product of a tight line-breeding on dogs of outstanding spaniel type and style who were absolutely healthy with incredible character. We chose to keep Ch. ESSpecial Madison Avenue, Ch. Tiffany's Image is Everything and Ch. Tiffany's Image of ESSpecial. All had fabulous careers and changed our breeding program forever.

Madison was a character. He howled with the best of them and was gloriously beautiful to look at while being truly priceless to live with. We lost Madison to cancer just weeks before his tenth birthday.

Thanks to the beauty of technology, Madison's frozen semen was used with Ch. ESSpecial Stormy Weather to produce another dream litter: Two National specialty point winners and four of the get finishing at specialties. They are all healthy with incredible personalities.

Ch. ESSpecial Twice in a Blu Moon, Ch. ESSpecial Moonlite Drive, Ch. ESSpecial Moonlite Memory and Ch. ESSpecial Weather Girl represent the legacy of Madison and Lena.

Surrounded by his children who are stamped with his gentle heart and expression, I know he is with me forever.
